Renal Function Dog Food has low phosphorus levels to help slow the progression of CKD and minimise the risk of secondary hyperparathyroidism. It contains restricted high-quality proteins to help minimise loss of muscle, formation of uraemic toxins and their associated morbidity. The added omega-3 fatty acids help to minimise glomerular hypertension and help support natural anti-inflammatory processes.

PURINA PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS NF Renal Function Dog Food is recommended for chronic kidney disease (CKD), protein-losing nephropathy, conditions that require restricted dietary sodium, reduction of calcium oxalate urinary stone formation, reduction of urate and cystine urinary stone formation, a hepatic disease associated with encephalopathy and renal failure associated with leishmaniasis. It is not recommended for conditions that require high protein or phosphorus intake, pregnancy, lactation and growth.
